New Expanded Facility for your enjoyment!

Preserving the Past
for the Future

The Fort Nelson Heritage Museum is situated just west of the historic Mile 300 milepost on the world famous Alaska Highway

The museum buildings as well as the grounds house a large collection of vehicles and equipment, including items from World War II when the Highway was being built.

Marl's Story

Marl Brown, the founder and former curator

Marl was often the first one here in the morning and last to leave at night. The museum and everything in it is Marl's passion and life's work.
